One of Those Days

Some days on the bike just come together.

Today was one of those days.

63.33 miles.

Started out cool, warmed up quickly, and settled in early. Met up with a buddy for part of the ride, then finished the rest on my own.

Nothing forced.

As the miles went on, I kept getting stronger.

That doesn’t always happen.

Usually, you’re just trying to hold on to whatever you have left.

Today felt different.

By the last stretch, I was moving.

Not pushing just to get through it—but actually picking it up.

The kind of effort where everything feels connected and you’re just rolling.

Had more left in the tank at the end.

Could’ve kept going.

Those are the days you take with you.

Not every ride feels like that.

But when one does, it reminds you what’s there—and what you’re building toward.

Rise. Rock. Ride.
Resilience Amplified.
