Our Mission
Our mission is to support people and families affected by blood cancer, fund research for better treatments and cures, and increase bone marrow and stem cell donor registration.
WHY THIS MISSION IS PERSONAL
In 2023, Michael Glauser was diagnosed with stage-four peripheral T-cell lymphoma while his daughter was just five months old.
What followed—aggressive chemotherapy, extended hospital stays, major surgeries, and a stem cell transplant—changed everything. It also created a deeply personal commitment to support others facing blood cancer and help build a future with better treatments, more donors, and ultimately, cures.
Built to Rise grew from that experience: not as one person’s story, but as a way to turn it into action for others.

The Built to Rise Tour ’27
In 2027, the Built to Rise Tour will take the fight against blood cancer on the road through a 50-day cycling journey built around the stories of people whose lives have been affected by the disease.
The ride is the platform. The stories are the mission.
